The new advances in the designs of the new LED headlamps are offering even more lightening options. The lights are extremely bright and easy to work with just a push of a button. The overall design of these headlamps is impressive with their ability to beam the light where it is need instead of just out in front of the person using it. The InnoGear 5000 Lumen Bright Headlight Headlamp is one of the best functioning headlamps that I have tested to date.
The InnoGear headlamp offers 5000 illumination with its CREE XM-L2 T6 LED and Rechargeable Batteries. It has a stretchy head strap that can be adjusted to fit the average size head, but it can also be placed around a hard hat. This particular headlamp has a molded piece of plastic that fits against the forehead that not only keeps the headlamp positioned properly, but makes it more comfortable to wear. The headlamp also has a strap that goes across the top of your head also which keeps the headlamp from moving around. The stretchy material that is used in the strap not only fits snuggly against the head, but is comfortable to wear with no skin irritation.
There are three lamps on the head gear that provide the 5000 lumens of light. The headlamp uses 2 rechargeable batteries that are included. The batteries can be charged either by the AC wall charger or a USB charger which are both included. The batteries are charged in place so there is no need to worry where you put that battery charger. The batteries are stored in a hard case and has a silicone cover that is attached so no worries about losing it. The headlamp has a life span of 4-6 hours on a full battery charge.
There are three lights on the headlamp which are all made of high quality military grade aluminum that is resistant to impact and water. The lights have an adjustment that allows them to be adjusted up or down. Though, they cannot be adjusted separately. There is a button located at the top center of the lights that operates the lightening modes. There are four light modes which are center light only, two side lights only, all three lights and a strobe light with all three lights.
Overall, the InnoGear 5000 Lumen Bright Headlight Headlamp function beyond my expectations. The LED lights were extremely bright and lite up a large portion of my backyard. I liked that I could adjust the light beam up or down. I also like that the batteries are rechargeable and that they charge in place. Having rechargeable batteries makes this headlamp environmentally friendly and I never have to worry about finding or buying batteries. I found operating the headlamp to be relatively easy. The lamps turn on with a quick push of the button. The batteries came pre-charged which allow me to test it right out of the box. I tested the lamp indoors and outdoors and found it to be quite useful. I like that I can light a path while having my hands free. Though, one thing the lights are so extremely bright you do want to make sure you do not point the lights in the direction of someone else since the lights are could be blinding. Another, great feature is the way the headlamp is adjusted up and down. I like that I can make the adjustments while I am wearing the headlamp. At the bottom of the lights there is a plastic wheel that has little grooves. When the wheel moves you will hear a clicking noise as you make your adjustments. What is nice is it move one click at a time so you can change it back and forth without having to manually lock it into place. I will say that this is by far my favorite headlamp and I have tested quite a few. I would without hesitation recommend the InnoGear 5000 Lumen Bright Headlight Headlamp.
