I have been drawn to more and more products made of Bamboo. Bamboo is a great renewable resource and is harder than most hardwoods species such as Maple and Oak. I also like the look of the grain that runs through the Bamboo pieces. It has the look of real hardwoods with its fully developed grain. I was offered an opportunity to test a beautiful Bamboo Tea Box and I was intrigued by the idea of having a place for my tea bags.
When the Bamboo tea box arrived I have to say it was absolutely stunning. It has a real decorative appeal that will look fantastic in my kitchen. The tea box has 8 equally spaced out divided compartment to hold your tea bags. Though, it could also hold sugar pack, spices or a number of other things in the kitchen if you are not a tea drinker. Bamboo is not only such a great renewable resource it is also easy to keep clean with just a quick wash with a mild soap and water. Then allow the Bamboo tea box too thoroughly dry and it ready to use. The Bamboo tea box measures 12” x 7.5” x 3.8” and has a Plexiglas lid so that you can see the contents without opening the lid. The lid as a magnetic closure to keep you tea fresh.
Overall, I really like the look of the natural Bamboo. I do not have to worry about stains leeching into whatever I decide to store in my tea box. The 8 compartments are deep enough to hold quite a few tea bags. I love the idea of being able to bring out the Bamboo tea box filled with 8 different teas when family or friends stop by. What I like about the tea box is I do not have to worry about having a piece of glass on the lid which could be cracked during storage. I also like that the possibilities are endless in what can be stored in these little compartments. I know that the craftsmanship and quality of this Bamboo tea box will give me years of use. The Bamboo tea box would make an awesome gift filled with tea for that tea drinker in your life. I would recommend the ESK Collection Bamboo Tea Box.
