This beautiful duvet cover set is an ample sized king cover measuring at 90 inches by 90 inches. It comes with two matching pillow shams that hold a standard 20 inch x 26 inch pillow. In this duvet cover the zipper closure is hidden to give the duvet cover a seamless appearance.
The fabric is a soft Microfiber that feels lightweight. Even though the fabric feels lightweight it is thick which allows the cover to lay flat on the beds surface. On the backside of the cover is a light soft purple which can be found in the front design also. All of the colors are a lighter version of purples, burgundy, black, brown, cream and green. All of the colors blend into a pattern of flowers and leaves which forms a unique pattern.
When washing the duvet cover set it was virtually wrinkle free. The fabric retained its shape and did not show any shrinkage. Each of the corners on the duvet are not exactly squared, but more of a round edging. Though, the pillow shams the corners are squared off. The zipper on the duvet cover is a white plastic nylon. Each piece uses a creamy white thread for the seams and zipper. The pillow shams have a fold over back to slip the pillow into.
This beautiful duvet cover set is made solid of great fabric. The size is ample for a king size bed. All of the colors are soft enough to be elegant while decorative. The pillow sham size is not a king size which is something I would like to have seen. The shams are a decorative element so they do not need to be functional. Throughout, the duvet cover set I found no flaws, thread breakage or loose threads.
When placing the comforter into the duvet cover I find it easier to turn the cover inside out half way. Tie the corners of the comforter to the duvet cover ties. Then the half that you have inside out will fold over the comforter and repeat. The corner ties will keep the comforter in place without bunching up..
