However, it is glass and will break if you add a cold food, metal utensil or cold liquid to a hot dish, but it can take more than regular glass.

Overall, I find these glass containers to be made of high quality materials. The glass has a nice hefty feel. Also, the lids snap tightly on the containers so no leaking or odors seeping in or out. Air destroys most food faster so locking out the air allow me to prep food for the week and know it will be safe to eat as well as taste great.
Also, 10 glass meal prep containers allows me to plan for the week. Packing lunches on Sunday night saves time during the week. Leftovers can be seen through the glass so no surprises later in the week looking like a science project. It is easy to find these glass meal prep containers impressive. I love that I can use these glass containers in the oven or microwave to warm up a quick meal. The lids are not oven safe. Also, these glass containers can withstand up to 500 degrees F. When we are done eating these containers go straight in the dishwasher.
