This compact diffuser measures 5 ½ inches tall and is the base is about 4” in diameter. The diffuser comes with a measuring cup with the ml markings to make measuring easier. The diffuser holds 100 ml of water. There is no need to worry about over filling the diffuser because there is a max line written clearly for you to see. There are 3 modes to choose from which are intermittent mist (30 seconds on and 30 seconds off), continuous mist or lights only. The diffuser also has auto shut off if the water levels gets too low.
Overall, the InnoGear humidifying diffuser does three different jobs all in one. You can use this diffuser as a night light in any room in the house, but it would be great in a child’s room. There are 7 different colors to choose from including white. The light can be dim or bright depending on what you want. The diffuser is quiet when running so it will not keep anyone a wake. If you are running the diffuser on a continuous misting mode you can expect to get about 3 hours of running time. If you are using the intermittent mode then you can expect it to run about 6 hours. When using the light alone it can be on as long as you want. This diffuser is meant to humidify a small area so it is perfect for most bedrooms. I like that it works with plain water or I can add my own essential oils to scent the room. To clean the diffuser you just pour out any remaining water, take a q-tip and wipe away any particles left from the water. Then apply a small amount of white vinegar wipe it around with a new q-tip and allow it to dry. It is best to clean your diffuser at least once a week. I also clean mine before using if I haven’t used it in a few days. Also, it is best to use distilled water or at least filtered water. When adding essential oils it is all up to you own preferences as to how much you use. Though, it is recommended to not use more than 5 drops in diffuser especially the ones that hold 100 ml of water. You will be surprised by how little it takes to scent a room. I am impressed with the InnoGear Aroma Essential Oil Diffuser and Cool Mist Humidifier. I liked that it was so quiet and the lights are pretty at night. I also found that it provided an adequate amount of humidified air for a small room or bedroom. I would recommend the InnoGear diffuser.
