I use a pepper mill every day I have a set of hand turn style, push style and electric grinder. I like that each offers me something different. My son-in-law was using my electric grinder and just like it so much that I started looking for one similar to mine for him. I was offered the Ozeri Savore Soft Touch Electric Pepper Mill and Grinder to test as a sample and since it is similar to mine I was happy to test it.
Even before I begin to use the soft touch electric pepper mill I found the size perfect. It does not take up a lot of counter space which is important for the smaller kitchens. The grinder stands 6 ½ inches tall. It has a black soft touch top and bottom with a clear window where the peppercorns go in. At the top of the pepper mill is the push button mechanism that operates the grinding wheel. To change the grind textures there is a square silver square button that slides to the desired grind. The grinder offer three different grinds from fine to coarse. On the front of the grinder is an arrow that shows how to unlock and lock the grinder top to the base. When you take the grinder apart you will see two white tabs that have to be squeezed together to place the 6 AAA batteries which are not included.
Overall I found the Ozeri Savore Soft Touch Electric Pepper Mill and Grinder to grind well. I like the overall design and the soft touch grip keeps the mill from slipping out of my hands even if they are wet. I like using an electric grinder when I am cooking because I can operate it with one hand. The pepper mill is easier to fill than my other electric grinder with its large fill space. I also found this pepper mill easy to keep clean. The six AAA batteries is a little bit hard to swallow, but that is what my other one takes too and they have lasted in that grinder for over 6 months with daily use. The ceramic grinders gives a good grind and I know it looks like plastic, but that is how they all look. I am happy with the functioning of the Ozeri Savore Soft Touch Electric Pepper Mill and Grinder and would recommend it.
