When buying clothes online I know most women find it difficult. We all face the same problem we are not a one standard size group of individuals, we are all built differently. The Zoozie brand understand the issues women face and are making clothes that flatter all women including plus size. I was offered a sample of the Zoozie LA Women’s Plus Size Dresses with Sleeves and pockets which I was happy to test. I thought it looked like a great summer time dress and I am happy to say that the dress did not disappoint me.
When the dress by Zoozie LA arrived it was in a clear plastic zippered sleeve. After opening the package I found a soft charcoal gray dress. I did not detect any odor on the fabric. The second I touched the dress I could instantly feel the soft fabric between my fingers. The dress is made of Rayon and Viscose. I would say this is more of a summer and spring dress due its lightweight fabric. The sleeves are a short sleeve and are stretchy which gives a good fit. The dress has an empire waist which is flattering to most women. However, I do find that the waist line is bit high up on the dress. The neckline has a squared apperance which adds a nice look to the overall dress. The pockets are deep enough to put your hands in, but not so big that they distract from the look of the dress. The dress is easy to embellish by just adding a splash of color with a belt, sweater or scarf.
Overall, the Zoozie LA brand might be on to something when it comes to women’s clothing. There were no flaws in the fabric anywhere on the dress. All of the stitching was straight and unbroken. I found no loose threads or tangles threads along the seams. All of the seams were finished off. I found the dress slightly shorter than I would like. It measured approximately 35 inches from the shoulders to the bottom hem. The dress is a little clingy and does show off your bodies imperfections. I would recommend ordering a size bigger because it does run slightly smaller than its true US sizing. The lightweight fabric is nice and is something I can wear during the upcoming summer months. I like that the dress is neutral so I can add my own embellishments. The dress could even be worn as a tunic with a pair of skinny jeans or leggings if you find the dress to short. The fabric should be hand washed and line dried in my opinion I could not find any washing instructions. I am happy with the dress overall.
